GENERAL SUMMARY: This position is responsible for leading a team of Supervisors and Hourly Associates in meeting Department production, quality, safety and budgetary goals in a fast paced fulfillment center environment. This position serves as a role model to the staff in adhering to and enforcing all company policies, procedures and safety practices.


  • Lead department in reaching its productivity, quality, safety and budget goals.
  • Responsible for team and individual development of supervisors including coaching, training, and mentoring, and conducting performance reviews. Make recommendations concerning supervisory promotions, transfers and new hires.
  • Establish and manage yearly operational budgets in line with company goals; create and produce financial management reports.
  • Anticipate challenges based upon an understanding of the business and work with all levels of associates to improve department performance.
  • Oversees all activities with RTV's, Charitable Donations, Outside Vendor for Reworks and Re-ticketing programs
  • Maintain a Monthly Cycle Count program on all Reserve and Active locations
  • Track and report monthly on Key Performance indicators pertaining to the inventory
  • Communicate with Finance on any large Inventory adjustment transactions made within our WMS.
  • Drive ad-hoc analysis to resolve and support Inventory integrity issues, present results, and recommendations to management
  • Review Crystal Reports to ensure inventory transactions are being executed accurately and within service level expectations
  • Partner with Human Resources on associate relations issues and staffing needs.
  • Initiate, design and implement process improvement programs.
  • Design and produce reporting metrics.
  • Coordinate regularly with other departments to achieve operational goals.
  • Facilitate intra and inter departmental meetings.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Critical relationships and partnerships include specific Corporate Departments inclusive of but not limited to: Finance, Planning / Allocation, Quality Assurance.


  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-3 years management experience required.
  • Experience in a distribution center, supply-chain or related production environment required.
  • Experience in budget planning and execution as well as ability to control costs while meeting productivity and quality goals.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese a plus.


  • Strong interpersonal skills to include team building and conflict management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates, peers and upper management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to identify problems and develop sustainable solutions quickly. Strong analytic skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to see and convey the big picture to associates.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize department/function activities.
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with WMS's a plus, especially PkMS.


  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to push rolling carts or racks full of merchandise.
  • Ability to pack/unpack and handle boxes up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to pick merchandise from multi tier modules.
  • Ability to pick merchandise from multi-tier modules designed for multi-sku product.
  • Ability operate non electric pallet jack.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace warehouse environment with narrow aisles, conveyor belts, forklifts, and other power equipment.
