Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY: As the eCommerce Content Specialist at DXL, you are responsible for day to day site operations, as well as ownership of assigned functionality on the site (i.e. Banners, Badging, Site Search, email deployment etc.). This content and experience role will continue to focus on the operations, maintenance, functionality, structure, and look and feel of the website. This role ensures best practices for site experience are followed and that all content campaigns are launched on schedule and accurately. You will be a key member of our content operations team, which is a critical function in our journey to accelerate the growth of our ecommerce business. You will partner with leaders from Digital Marketing, Site Content Management, Digital Analytics, Customer Service, and Development to drive our shared vision of putting the consumer first and delivering a seamless digital experience. You will need to effectively collaborate with an agile, multi-disciplinary team to create seamless end-to-end experiences along our customers' journey.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and publish content within content management system and related tools, while ensuring QA processes are completed
  • Work closely with the merchandise team to get necessary approvals and follow process as required before publishing content and partner with creative team as required
  • Monitor website content around campaigns and promotions in compliance to brand guidelines and accuracy requirements
  • Perform thorough UAT and maintenance tasks, such as checking for broken links within websites, monitoring use of digital assets, checking appropriate page weight and ensuring the regular review of copy on all content across the site
  • Ensure that promotional events are executed effectively and efficiently. This includes coordinating inputs from Site Content Management, mapping the digital experience, aligning on landing experiences with Digital Marketing, and QA-ing creative & the experience
  • Work with leadership to prioritize and implement new features
  • Establish and report on KPI's; manage analytical performance evaluation of products in your portfolio
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for website functionality
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in eCommerce
  • Monetate or Optimizely experience a definite plus
  • ATG and/or Endecca experience a plus
