Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Temp to Perm

This is a full-time temporary position  -

Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

As a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic in our 500,00 square foot Distribution Center, you will be accountable for maintaining and repairing all material handling equipment.

Using your maintenance experience with fulfillment center material handling equipment, you will play a key role in supporting DXL's mission by:

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment such as conveyors, sorters, forklifts, electric motors and drives etc.
• Investigating and taking corrective action for maintenance problems within the Distribution Center and Corporate offices
• Working with sub-contractors and vendors as needed on testing, maintaining, and repairing all Distribution Center and Facilities equipment
• Assisting with internal Distribution Center and Corporate office moves of furniture and equipment.
• Preparing all department documentation such as: work logs, equipment check sheets, preventative maintenance documentation, etc.

We're looking for someone:

• With 1-3 years of maintenance experience with fulfillment center material handling equipment
• That has experience with EuroSort Sorters, Dematic (Rapistan) conveyors and material handling equipment a plus
• With general knowledge of electrical, PLC, conveyor systems, lift trucks and mechanical systems
